Position: QA Lead

Location: Bengaluru, Mohali

Job Description:

Gmware, a leading software development company, is currently hiring for the position of QA Lead. If you have 5+ years of experience in quality assurance and possess strong leadership skills, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the QA team, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to ensure efficient and effective testing processes.
Define and implement QA strategies, methodologies, and best practices to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
Execute and oversee the execution of test cases and test scripts, ensuring comprehensive testing coverage.
Identify, log, and track defects using defect tracking tools, and collaborate with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
Perform regression testing to validate software stability and functionality after bug fixes or system changes.
Coordinate with project stakeholders, including developers, business analysts, and product managers, to understand project requirements and priorities.
Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and techniques to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Provide regular status updates and reports on testing progress, including test coverage, defects, and risk assessments.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in quality assurance, with a strong focus on manual testing.
Proven experience in leading and managing a QA team.
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, strategies, and best practices.
Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Experience with defect tracking tools to log and manage defects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies is a plus.
ISTQB or any other relevant certification is a plus.
