Position: Mobile Application Tester (Manual and Automation)

PERSOLKELLY INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Mobile Application Tester with expertise in both manual and automation testing. As a Mobile Application Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our mobile applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test scripts, maintaining automation frameworks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the mobile testing strategy and processes. Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Design and Implement Automation Test Scripts:
   • Develop and maintain automation test scripts using relevant tools and frameworks.
   • Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to identify and automate test cases.
2. Maintain and Enhance Automation Testing Framework:
   • Continuously improve and enhance the automation testing framework to increase efficiency and reliability.
   • Identify opportunities to optimize test execution and reporting processes.
3. Execute Automated Test Suites and Analyze Results:
   • Execute automated test suites regularly to verify the functionality and performance of mobile applications.
   • Analyze test results and promptly report any failures or issues to the development team.
4. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:
   • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and QA engineers, to understand testing requirements and improve the overall testing process.
   • Participate in discussions to define and refine the mobile testing strategy.
5. Stay Up-to-Date with Latest Trends and Best Practices:
   • Keep abreast of the latest trends, tools, and best practices in mobile application testing.
   • Make recommendations to enhance the quality and performance of our mobile applications.
6. Perform Data Validation and Testing:
   • Conduct data validation and testing to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of analytics data.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

1. Hands-On Experience with Bug Tracking Systems and Test Management Tools:
   • Familiarity with bug tracking systems such as Jira and test management tools like TestRail.
2. Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
   • Ability to analyze complex issues and troubleshoot problems effectively.
   • A keen eye for detail and the ability to identify potential areas of improvement.
3. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum Development Methodologies:
   • Experience working in an Agile environment and understanding of Scrum development methodologies.
4. Solid Understanding of Mobile Platforms (iOS, Android):
   • In-depth knowledge of mobile platforms (iOS and Android) and their respective design guidelines.
5. Automation Framework Development Experience:
   • Experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks using scripting languages such as Java, Python, or other relevant languages is a plus.
6. Excellent Communication Skills:
   • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and report test results.
