Job Description For System Engineer (Audio)

Must have in-depth knowledge of Android Audio Framework, Audio/Video Codecs, Subjective audio quality testing and routing
Good knowledge of troubleshooting, debugging, and analyzing logs using QXDM, QPST, QACT, and Adobe Audio audition tools
Experience in Mobile chipsets such as Qualcomm, MTK, and audio technologies , Dolby, and DTS.
Hands-confidence in Acoustic principles and audio testing equipment like B&K sound analyzer.
Basic knowledge of bug life cycle, defect tracking systems like Jira, and test rail.
Basic knowledge in Android Python, adb commands, and Ubuntu knowledge will be an added advantage
Must have an understanding of Audio Codecs and performance.

Audio Test Engineer Responsibility

Meeting with the product design team to discuss Audio testing parameters
Executing test plans for Audio Test cases
Setting up test environments.
Comprehensively documenting test results of Audio data measured by B&K sound analyzer.
Conception and implementation of development tests based on user feedback reproducible issues.
Evaluating and analyzing Audio test results
Identifying the Audio and MIUI Bug, raising and following the bug cycle through JIRA
Providing feedback on product usability and serviceability.
Deriving and implementing further development and optimization in Automation case development.
Closely cooperate with Beta user feedback & External user feedback in audio and take necessary action.
Providing technical assistance when needed in Audio Technology.
