Job Description For System Engineer (Audio)

• Must have in-depth knowledge of Android Audio Framework, Audio/Video Codecs, Subjective audio quality testing and routing
• Good knowledge of troubleshooting, debugging, and analyzing logs using QXDM, QPST, QACT, and Adobe Audio audition tools
• Experience in Mobile chipsets such as Qualcomm, MTK, and audio technologies , Dolby, and DTS.
• Hands-confidence in Acoustic principles and audio testing equipment like B&K sound analyzer.
• Basic knowledge of bug life cycle, defect tracking systems like Jira, and test rail.
• Basic knowledge in Android Python, adb commands, and Ubuntu knowledge will be an added advantage
• Must have an understanding of Audio Codecs and performance.

Audio Test Engineer Responsibility

• Meeting with the product design team to discuss Audio testing parameters
• Executing test plans for Audio Test cases
• Setting up test environments.
• Comprehensively documenting test results of Audio data measured by B&K sound analyzer.
• Conception and implementation of development tests based on user feedback reproducible issues.
• Evaluating and analyzing Audio test results
• Identifying the Audio and MIUI Bug, raising and following the bug cycle through JIRA
• Providing feedback on product usability and serviceability.
• Deriving and implementing further development and optimization in Automation case development.
• Closely cooperate with Beta user feedback & External user feedback in audio and take necessary action.
• Providing technical assistance when needed in Audio Technology.
