Qualification and Skills

  • Required written and spoken English (fluent or native), B2 or equivalent.
  • BSc degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent will be appreciated.
  • Technical certifications in different technologies will be appreciated.
  • High resolution and troubleshooting ability
  • Ability to transfer knowledge across technologies, excellent learning ability.

  • Experience with web, middleware applications and databases.
  • Experience with Python and PowerShell
  • Experience working with REST API, SOAP, XML-RPC or JSON integration standards.

Responsibilities

  • Interfaces with stakeholders and Operational Teams to come up with new or additional monitoring along with doing break fix.
  • Determines root causes of issues that are determined throughout testing.
  • Generate and maintain documentation for the monitoring tools. Examples: data inputs, interface layout, integrations data points, thresholds, and graphs
  • Provides timelines for fixing issues that are identified during testing.
  • Communicate needed changes to the rest of the monitoring team and organization when interdependencies exist.
  • Develop scripts and code when needed.
  • Produce working prototypes and then refine the prototypes into production ready deployments.
  • Takes input from senior team members and appropriately and accurately applies comments/feedback.
  • Consistently delivers high-quality services to the organization.
  • Maintains the applications that make up the monitoring toolset at NTT CSD.
