Position: Test Lead-Functional
Location: Delhi, NCR
Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Provide leadership and consultation to program and application development groups for all testing-related matters.
- Project Delivery: Lead project delivery by working with related teams, departments, and stakeholders to ensure successful testing and project completion.
- Test Planning: Support project management activities from initiation to closure, including creating, reviewing, and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
- Work Product Review: Review and oversee the work products of QA Testers, including training, mentoring, and process improvement to enhance the overall quality and productivity of the team.
- Risk and Issue Management: Identify and raise risks, issues, and dependencies in day-to-day work and collaborate with stakeholders to address them.
- User Acceptance Testing: Support business users and key stakeholders in planning and executing user acceptance testing.
- Project Communication: Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate project status and escalate risks/issues to the management team.
- Team Management: If assigned, manage the testing team, including performance feedback and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Test Strategy and Planning: Write test plans and test strategies to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
- DevOps Knowledge: Have knowledge of DevOps practices and tools to integrate testing activities into the development and deployment process.
Requirements:
- Experience: The candidate should have prior experience as a Test Lead, with a strong functional testing background, preferably in a software development environment.
- Project Management: Ability to support project management activities and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
- Test Documentation: Proficiency in creating, reviewing, and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
- Team Management: Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide the testing team to deliver high-quality results.
- Risk and Issue Management: Proactive in identifying and raising risks, issues, and dependencies and working with stakeholders to resolve them.
- User Acceptance Testing: Familiarity with user acceptance testing processes and supporting business users in executing tests.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and provide project updates.
- Test Strategy and Planning: Experience in writing comprehensive test plans and test strategies.
- DevOps Knowledge: Understanding of DevOps practices and tools to integrate testing activities into the development and deployment process.
