Position: Test Lead

Location: Noida

Wipro, a leading global information technology company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Lead to join our team in Noida. As a Test Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the testing activities, managing a team, and ensuring the quality of Airport systems. If you have a strong background in manual and automation testing, good domain knowledge in Airport systems, and excellent leadership skills, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Possess at least 7+ years of experience in manual and automation testing, with a focus on Airport systems.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of Airport system workflows and the ability to navigate complex systems.
  • Have a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience working with different models such as Waterfall and Agile.
  • Conduct integration and API testing to ensure the seamless functioning of Airport systems.
  • Manage a team of more than 10 members, providing guidance, mentorship, and support in testing activities.
  • Utilize strong analytical skills to analyze user requirements, functional, non-functional, and technical requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies, identifying critical success factors and quality criteria.
  • Write test scripts and test cases, ensuring thorough test coverage and adherence to test objectives.
  • Prepare test data and scenarios, simulating real-world scenarios to validate system performance and functionality.
  • Use tools like SOAP UI, POSTMAN, JMETER, and Selenium to create scripts for automation testing.
  • Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders, including developers, project managers, and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure code coverage and effectively manage bug classification and prioritization.
  • Drive customer meetings, actively participate in defect triage sessions, and provide solutions and recommendations.
  • Utilize test management tools such as HP ALM, JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar for test planning, execution, and defect tracking.
  • Prepare QA summary reports, providing insights into test results, defects, and overall system quality.
  • Provide support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), working closely with end-users to address their needs and concerns.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in manual and automation testing.
  • Strong domain knowledge in Airport systems and familiarity with Airport system workflows.
  • Proficient in integration and API testing, with hands-on experience in related tools and technologies.
  • Proven experience in managing a team of 10 or more members, providing leadership and support.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex requirements and identify critical test scenarios.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with test management tools such as HP ALM, JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
  • Experience in preparing QA summary reports, providing insights into test results and system quality.
  • Ability to drive customer meetings, actively participate in defect triage sessions, and provide effective solutions.
  • Good understanding of test management processes and best practices.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
  • ISTQB certification or any relevant testing certification is a plus.
