Job Description:

As a Systems Quality Assurance Analyst / Senior Systems Quality Assurance Analyst, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of front-end systems. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct manual validations and testing, focusing on the banking domain. Proficiency in SQL, including query writing skills, will be essential for this role. Experience in validating consumer lending underwriting systems (cards/personal loan) and expertise in automation scripts using UFT and SAS will be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct manual validations and testing of front-end systems, ensuring the functionality and usability of banking applications.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to understand requirements and validate system behavior.
3. Utilize your strong SQL experience and query writing skills to perform data validations and execute test cases.
4. Validate consumer lending underwriting systems, such as cards and personal loans, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
5. Develop and maintain test scenarios, test cases, and test data to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
6. Design and execute test scripts for automation using UFT (Unified Functional Testing) and SAS (Statistical Analysis System).
7. Perform root cause analysis for test failures and collaborate with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
8. Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test scripts, and defect reports.
9. Provide regular updates on testing progress, issues, and risks to project stakeholders.
10. Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and advancements in manual testing methodologies.

Requirements:

1. For Systems Quality Assurance Analyst: 5+ years of experience in manual validations and testing of front-end systems. For Senior Systems Quality Assurance Analyst: 3+ years of experience in manual validations and testing of front-end systems.
2. Strong experience and proficiency in SQL, including query writing skills.
3. Knowledge of the banking domain, specifically consumer lending underwriting systems (cards/personal loan).
4. Experience in automation scripts using UFT (Unified Functional Testing) and SAS (Statistical Analysis System).
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, analyze, and document software defects and issues.
6. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and working in Agile teams.
7. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
8. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
9. Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
