Position: Manual QA Tester with Supply Chain Background

Location: India (Work from home)

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Manual QA Tester with a background in Supply Chain to join our team. As a Manual QA Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications related to retail supply chain processes. This is a work-from-home position based in India, and the successful candidate should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess strong analytical skills. If you have extensive experience in testing methodologies and possess a deep understanding of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your strong knowledge of testing methodologies and expertise in ALM to effectively carry out testing activities.
  • Be willing to work during second shift hours, from 1:00/2:00 PM till 10:00/10:30 PM IST.
  • Apply your extensive testing experience, with a minimum of 5 years in the field, including at least 3 years of experience in the retail supply chain domain.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test scenarios and test cases to ensure proper functionality and performance of software applications.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and third-party vendors to gather requirements, clarify specifications, and resolve any issues that arise during the testing process.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders, conveying complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Display a keen ability to learn quickly and become proficient in using complex applications within a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing, with a specific focus on manual testing methodologies.
  • At least 3 years of experience working with retail supply chain systems, demonstrating a solid understanding of related processes and requirements.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools and frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with business stakeholders and third-party vendors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, while also collaborating effectively with team members remotely.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements and priorities.
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
