Role Overview:

As a Sr. Test Lead at Deutsche Bank, you will be responsible for overseeing the testing activities within the software development lifecycle. You will lead a team of test engineers, develop test harnesses, and implement automation frameworks using open source automation tools, with a focus on Selenium framework development. Your role will encompass refining processes, managing resources, and ensuring the successful delivery of testing objectives for assigned projects. Additionally, you will collaborate with onshore and offshore stakeholders, manage hardware/software resources, and contribute to enhancing our testing practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Testing Strategy and Leadership:
- Develop a comprehensive testing strategy aligned with the software development lifecycle.
- Lead and mentor a team of test engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Refine processes, manage hardware/software resources, and allocate tasks effectively.
Automation Framework Development:
- Develop and implement automation frameworks using open source tools, with a strong emphasis on Selenium framework development.
- Prioritize automation efforts and design test harnesses to maximize test coverage and efficiency.
Agile and Scrum Practices:
- Apply Agile and Scrum methodologies, ensuring alignment with the development process.
- Collaborate with Agile teams, product managers, and business analysts to ensure testing objectives are met.
Test Automation and Tools:
- Utilize various test automation tools and performance testing techniques to ensure robust software quality.
- Implement security testing approaches to safeguard applications against vulnerabilities.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with onshore and offshore developers, users, product managers, and project managers to achieve project success.
- Provide regular updates on testing progress, addressing concerns and issues in a proactive manner.
Deployment and Configuration:
- Demonstrate proficiency in deployment and configuration practices to ensure smooth testing processes.
Testing Practices Expertise:
- Exhibit expertise in Automation, Manual, Web Services Testing, Load Testing, Security Testing, and Data Warehousing/Backend Database Testing practices.
Client-Facing Interaction:
- Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and stakeholders, ensuring their requirements are met.
Agile Certification:
- Possess CSM (Certified Scrum Master), SMCP (Scrum Master Certified Professional), or other relevant AGILE certifications.

Qualifications:

Experience: 5 to 13 years of relevant experience in testing and test leadership roles.
