Position: Software Testing Experience: 8+ Years

Location: Chennai

Mandatory Profile:

• Technical Skills: Software Testing, SQLs, Banking Domain

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Project Understanding: Interact with product management and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives.
2. Team Coordination: Coordinate between onshore and offshore teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
3. Troubleshooting: Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive root cause identification and resolution.
4. Test Design: Design and create test conditions, test data, and test scripts to address business and technical use cases.
5. Test Execution: Use existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and build new scripts for performing testing and validations.
6. Automation Testing: Develop and generate scripts for automated testing cycles using Selenium.
7. Test Result Analysis: Design, execute, and analyze automation test scripts and test results for web and windows-based applications.
8. Issue Tracking: Document, track, and escalate issues as appropriate, using tools like JIRA/VSTP and programming languages like Java or C#.
9. Development Knowledge: Knowledge of any development language is a plus.
10. Production Support: Support during production deployment of applications and perform validation/testing during off-hours maintenance windows.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
2. Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in software testing.
3. Banking Domain: Extensive experience and expertise in the banking services domain is mandatory.
4. SQL Proficiency: Strong knowledge and experience in SQLs.
5. Selenium: Proficiency in using Selenium for automated testing.
6. Test Life Cycle: Comprehensive understanding of the full software test life cycle.
7. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment.
