Position: Software Tester

As a Software Tester, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product managers, to understand software requirements and testing needs.
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to validate the functionality, performance, and usability of software applications.
- Perform functional testing, system testing, regression testing, and integration testing to identify and report software defects, bugs, and inconsistencies.
- Develop and maintain test data, test environments, and test infrastructure required for testing activities.
- Participate in test plan and test case reviews, providing feedback on test coverage and quality improvements.
- Investigate and analyze customer issues and provide detailed and accurate bug reports.
- Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor and track software defects using bug tracking systems, ensuring timely resolution and closure of issues.
- Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the testing efforts.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and best practices in software testing and incorporate them into the testing process.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in software testing, preferably in web-based applications.
- Strong knowledge of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience in both manual and automated testing, including test case design and execution.
- Proficiency in test management tools and defect tracking systems.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools.
- Knowledge of SQL and database concepts for data validation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
