Position: Software QA Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to understand project requirements and define comprehensive test plans.
- Design and develop test cases and test scripts based on project specifications and requirements.
- Execute manual and automated tests to validate the functionality, performance, and usability of software applications.
- Identify and report software defects and issues using bug tracking tools, and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure the integrity and stability of software releases.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software quality assurance.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and knowledge sharing.
- Provide regular status updates on testing progress and escalate any issues or concerns to the project lead.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Software QA Engineer or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Proficiency in creating and executing manual test cases and test scripts.
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
