Position: Software Tester/QA

Job Summary: Itechforest, a leading technology company, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Software Tester/QA professional to join our team. As a Software Tester/QA, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing and quality assurance processes. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to understand project requirements and define comprehensive test plans.
- Design and execute test cases and test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and usability of software applications.
- Perform manual testing to identify software defects and issues, and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure the stability and integrity of software releases.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to gather feedback and ensure that the software meets the requirements of end-users.
- Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance the overall quality and efficiency of software testing.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in quality assurance.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and knowledge sharing.
- Provide regular status updates on testing progress and escalate any issues or concerns to the project lead.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Experience in manual testing of software applications.
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
