Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Selenium Test Lead at Mindtree, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. Your responsibilities will span a wide range of testing activities, from automated testing using Selenium to manual testing, and your contributions will be vital to delivering high-quality products. Key responsibilities include:

  • Utilize your expertise in Selenium with Java to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for various software applications.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in manual testing methodologies to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Employ your experience in creating and implementing effective test plans and test strategies.
  • Utilize your in-depth understanding of Agile methodologies to drive and enhance the testing process within Agile teams.
  • Lead testing efforts by effectively coordinating and guiding the testing team members.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to understand software requirements and specifications.
  • Leverage your expertise in creating and executing test cases, identifying defects, and facilitating timely resolutions.
  • Provide valuable insights and recommendations to improve the overall quality of software products.
  • Contribute to the creation of detailed test reports, documenting test results, and sharing findings with relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in software testing.
  • Expertise in Selenium with Java, showcasing your proficiency in automated testing.
  • Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Proven experience in creating and implementing effective test plans and test strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies, with at least 4 years of experience working in Agile teams.
  • Must have experience leading testing efforts and guiding testing team members.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze user stories, use cases, and specifications to create and execute test cases.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to identify, document, and track defects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide valuable insights for process improvements.
