Position: Quality Engineer

Location: Hyderabad, India

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain frontend, API, and mobile (iOS and Android) automation frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
• Utilize Python, JavaScript scripting, and user-level test automation to create, execute, and maintain scripts and tools for various testing frameworks.
• Collaborate with software development teams to develop, test, deploy, and report on product performance, quality, security, and scalability.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, test planning, test case development, test execution, and defect management.
• Conduct automated testing using tools like Selenium and Appium for Android and iOS platforms.
• Apply Agile testing methodologies and best practices to ensure efficient and effective testing processes.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams and utilize integration tools to streamline testing and deployment processes.
• Continuously seek improvements in the quality assurance processes, methodologies, and tools.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in quality assurance and automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software products.
• Proactively learn new tools and technologies with minimal guidance and apply them to enhance the testing process.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
• 2-6 years of professional experience in quality assurance and/or application development.
• Strong experience in frontend, API, and mobile (iOS and Android) automation framework development.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript scripting for test automation.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools like Selenium and Appium for Android and iOS platforms is preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile testing methodologies and best practices.
• Proven ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies with minimal guidance.
• Strong ability to create, execute, and maintain scripts and tools for various testing frameworks.
• Desire to interact with different software development teams and collaborate effectively.
• Strong commitment to continuous improvement in quality assurance processes.
• Experience working with DevOps and integration tools.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment tools like Jenkins.
