Position: Quality Analyst / Software Tester / Manual Tester

ARKA Softwares, a leading software development and IT consulting company, is currently hiring a skilled and experienced Quality Analyst / Software Tester / Manual Tester to join our team. As a Quality Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing, 3-5 years of relevant experience, and a track record of working with service-based companies. Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of software applications to ensure quality, usability, and functionality.
- Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications.
- Execute test cases and document test results, defects, and issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to understand project requirements and ensure effective testing.
- Identify, analyze, and report software defects and issues to the development team, ensuring clear and detailed information for efficient resolution.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure that software enhancements and bug fixes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
- Participate in the entire software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and release.
- Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in software testing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quality Analyst, Software Tester, or Manual Tester, with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge and experience in manual testing techniques, methodologies, and tools.
- Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC) and its various phases.
- Experience in developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
- Proficiency in executing test cases and documenting test results, defects, and issues.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate testing progress and results.
- Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills to identify, isolate, and reproduce software defects.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to finding solutions.
- Good understanding of service-based company processes and requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
