Position: QA Testing

As a QA Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing, automation testing, and proficiency in tools like UFT and SAS. Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing of software applications to ensure quality, usability, and functionality.
• Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications.
• Execute test cases and document test results, defects, and issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to understand project requirements and ensure effective testing.
• Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing to validate software applications.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like UFT (Unified Functional Testing).
• Execute automated test scripts and analyze test results for accuracy and reliability.
• Perform data validation and verification by utilizing SAS (Statistical Analysis System) tools.
• Identify, analyze, and report software defects and issues to the development team, ensuring clear and detailed information for efficient resolution.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues and ensure proper software functionality.
• Participate in the entire software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and release.
• Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in software testing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a QA Tester, with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge and experience in manual testing techniques, methodologies, and tools.
• Proficiency in using automation testing tools like UFT (Unified Functional Testing).
• Familiarity with SAS (Statistical Analysis System) tools for data validation and verification.
• Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Experience in developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
• Ability to execute test cases, document test results, and track defects and issues.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and working in an agile environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, isolate, and reproduce software defects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to finding solutions.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
