Position: QA Testing Engineer
Location: Pune
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of TIBCO Software products.
- Perform both manual and automated testing to identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the overall reliability of the software.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand software requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
- Conduct regression testing to validate software changes and ensure that existing functionality remains intact.
- Utilize automation tools such as Selenium and Jenkins to streamline the testing process and enhance efficiency.
- Analyze test results, identify trends, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders regarding test coverage, defects, and overall product quality.
- Participate in agile development processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Continuously enhance testing methodologies and strategies to improve the overall quality assurance process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reproduce and troubleshoot reported defects, providing timely and accurate information for resolution.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends related to software testing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in manual and automated software testing, preferably in a QA role.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
- Proficient in using automation tools such as Selenium and Jenkins for test automation.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Java.
- Experience with testing web-based applications, APIs, and databases.
- Solid understanding of agile development methodologies and processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and isolate issues effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
