Position: QA Tester
Location: Pune
Accucia Softwares, a leading software development company, is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic QA Tester to join our team in Pune. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with at least 1 year of experience in QA testing, familiarity with testing methodologies, tools, and processes, and excellent communication and team coordination skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform testing activities to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications.
- Familiarize yourself with testing methodologies, tools, and processes to effectively plan and execute test cases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to gather project requirements and understand the testing needs.
- Participate in project planning meetings and provide inputs on testing strategies and timelines.
- Design and execute test cases based on project requirements, ensuring adequate coverage.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to identify defects, bugs, and inconsistencies in the software.
- Utilize test management and defect-tracking tools to record and track testing activities and issues.
- Collaborate with the development team to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues identified during testing.
- Conduct status updates and report on test progress to stakeholders.
- Document test results, including defects, test execution status, and overall project quality metrics.
- Collaborate with the team to continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
- Maintain effective communication and coordination with team members to ensure efficient and accurate testing.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience as a QA Tester or similar role.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Excellent communication and team coordination skills.
- Experience in gathering project requirements and conducting status updates.
- Proficiency in test planning, test case design, and execution.
- Knowledge of test management and defect-tracking tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
- ISTQB certification is a plus.
