Position: QA Manual TPC
Location: Bangalore/Hyderabad/Chennai
We are currently seeking skilled and experienced QA Manual TPC professionals to join our team. As a QA Manual TPC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our telecom projects, specifically in billing/charging or rating modules. The ideal candidate should have a broad understanding of the UNIX operating environment and hands-on experience in developing and executing test plans and scripts. Knowledge of Agile methodology and testing methodologies is essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Work on at least one telecom project, focusing on billing/charging or rating modules.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and scripts to ensure the functionality, reliability, and accuracy of the software applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements and translate them into test cases.
- Utilize Agile methodology to prioritize and plan testing activities.
- Conduct rigorous testing of multi-user, complex software applications.
- Perform testing on various platforms such as Windows and Linux.
- Identify and document defects using a bug-tracking system, providing clear and detailed information for developers to rectify the issues.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution of defects and overall software quality improvement.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in testing tools and methodologies.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years or 6-7 years of experience in manual testing.
- Previous experience in telecom projects, specifically billing/charging or rating modules.
- Broad understanding of the UNIX operating environment.
- Hands-on experience in developing and executing test plans and scripts.
- Knowledge of Agile methodology and testing methodologies.
- Secondary experience with CSG Singleview (exposure to any component is beneficial).
- Familiarity with multi-user, complex software applications.
- Experience working on Windows and Linux platforms.
- Ability to gain a basic understanding of client requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
