We are currently seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our team as a Freelancer/Contractor for a remote role. As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Trade Finance Backbase and Workflow squad’s projects.
Job Role:
As a QA Engineer at Convey Tech Labs, you will be a key contributor to the Trade Finance Backbase and Workflow squad. You will be responsible for a wide range of QA tasks, including requirements gathering, test script preparation, test execution, defect management, release management, performance testing (using JMeter), and test case automation (using Eggplant).

- Collaborate with the squad to gather and clarify requirements for Trade Finance roadmaps on Backbase and Workflow.
- Prepare detailed test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Execute test scripts, meticulously document test results, and manage defects.
- Follow our release management process to ensure smooth deployment.
- Execute performance tests using JMeter to evaluate system performance.
- Automate test cases using Eggplant or similar automation tools.
- Act as a quick learner, autonomously obtain test data, and actively engage with squad team members and other QA engineers to facilitate test coordination and execution.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a QA Engineer.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar QA role.
- Strong knowledge of Trade Finance Backbase and Workflow.
- Proficiency in gathering and clarifying requirements.
- Excellent test script preparation and execution skills.
- Experience with defect management processes.
- Familiarity with release management procedures.
- Proficiency in performance testing using JMeter.
- Experience in test case automation using tools like Eggplant.
- Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
