Position: QA Engineer
Location: Tamil Nadu, India
Zoho is currently seeking a talented and experienced QA Engineer to join our team in Tamil Nadu. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for both manual and automation testing of our software products. We are looking for candidates with strong knowledge of Java programming, experience in MySQL/PgSQL, and proficiency in Selenium and JMeter. Responsibilities:
- Perform manual and automation testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
- Utilize your knowledge of Java programming to write and execute test scripts, handle exceptions, and perform database operations.
- Conduct rigorous testing by creating large data sets and validating information flow through the system.
- Perform back-end testing to ensure data integrity and functionality.
- Collaborate with the development team to identify and report bugs, track issues, and ensure their resolution.
- Participate in the design and implementation of test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development life cycle.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies and tools.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2.5 years of experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong experience in manual and automation testing.
- Proficiency in Java programming, including data types, variables, operators, flow control statements, methods (built-in as well as user-defined), exception handling, file handling, database operations, and OOPS concepts.
- Experience in working with MySQL/PgSQL databases.
- Proficiency in Selenium and JMeter for automation testing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to identify, document, and communicate bugs effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
