Position: QA Engineer
Locations: Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad
Availability: Immediate to 30 days
Mode: Work From Office
Responsibilities:
- Develop functional and integration tests using Codecept, Puppeteer, and Dart, ensuring the highest level of test coverage and reliability.
- Apply knowledge and understanding of the test pyramid to design and implement effective testing strategies.
- Perform browser automation testing to validate the functionality and compatibility of web applications across different browsers and devices.
- Conduct microservice integration testing to ensure seamless communication and collaboration among different components of the system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and identify potential test scenarios.
- Utilize Git for version control and collaborate with the development team to maintain test scripts and test data in a shared repository.
- Work with Docker containers to set up and manage testing environments and facilitate efficient testing processes.
- Continuously improve and optimize test automation frameworks and processes to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the QA team.
- Perform test execution, defect tracking, and test result analysis, providing timely and accurate reports to stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure adherence to coding and testing standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in functional and integration testing using tools such as Codecept, Puppeteer, and Dart.
- Solid understanding of the test pyramid and the ability to apply it effectively to test planning and execution.
- Strong expertise in browser automation testing, ensuring compatibility across different browsers and devices.
- Experience in microservice integration testing, verifying the seamless communication and collaboration among different components.
- Proficiency in version control systems, especially Git, for managing test scripts and test data.
- Familiarity with Docker containers and their usage in setting up and managing testing environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good analytical skills and the ability to analyze and interpret test results and provide actionable recommendations.
