Position: OTT Testers
Location: Bangalore / Hyderabad / Chennai
Responsibilities:
- Familiarize yourself with the domain, products, and use cases of the OTT platform.
- Design comprehensive test plans and execute them for new features, interfaces, and applications.
- Perform extensive functional testing across various browsers, devices, and OTT apps.
- Generate and analyze test reports to provide valuable insights to the development team.
- Track issues and collaborate with developers to identify root causes and ensure timely resolutions.
- Work closely with developers on automation tasks to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with the latest mobile tools and technologies, such as BrowserStack, to enhance app quality.
- Possess script development experience using testing frameworks like Appium and API test automation (a plus).
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of testing experience on mobile, connected TV, and Smart TV platforms.
- Previous experience working on a media or video-based app is a must.
- Strong understanding of test planning, test execution, and defect management.
- Proficiency in functional testing across multiple browsers, devices, and OTT applications.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to generate comprehensive test reports and provide valuable insights.
- Experience in collaborating with developers on issue tracking and resolution.
- Knowledge of automation tools and frameworks such as Appium is preferred.
- Familiarity with API test automation is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
