Position: Senior Quality Engineer (Manual+Automation)

Location: Sakinaka, Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

• Testing Expertise: Demonstrate a strong understanding of testing methodologies, test automation, and software development practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
• Test Automation: Utilize test automation tools, such as Selenium, Cucumber, and Appium, to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts that improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Financial Industry Knowledge: Possess a deep understanding of the financial services industry and relevant regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and the highest level of quality in our fintech solutions.
• Communication and Collaboration: Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills to work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to ensure clear understanding of requirements and deliverables.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Apply strong problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot issues, propose effective solutions, and mitigate risks throughout the testing process.
• Team Leadership: Demonstrate the ability to lead and mentor team members, providing guidance and support to ensure the achievement of project goals and objectives.
• Agile Development: Work in an Agile development environment, participating in Agile ceremonies and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Test Planning and Execution: Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts, and execute testing activities to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of our fintech solutions.
• Test Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, test results, and other relevant artifacts.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality engineering, with a focus on manual and automation testing.
• Technical Skills: Strong technical skills in testing methodologies, test automation, and software development practices. Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, and Appium.
• Financial Industry Knowledge: Excellent understanding of the financial services industry, including relevant regulatory requirements.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated leadership abilities with the capability to lead and mentor team members.
• Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
