Position: Mobile QA Engineer
Location: Remote (Work from Home)
POCKET FM, a leading digital audio entertainment platform, is currently seeking a skilled Mobile QA Engineer to join our team. We are looking for candidates with 3-6 years of experience in manual testing, specifically in mobile app testing and API testing. This is a remote work-from-home position, and the candidate should be from a product-based company.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct manual testing of mobile applications to ensure quality and functionality.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman.
- Utilize Charles proxy tool for monitoring and analyzing network traffic.
- Create and execute comprehensive test cases based on project requirements.
- Identify and document software defects, and track them to closure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to resolve issues and ensure timely bug fixes.
- Participate in test planning and test strategy discussions.
- Conduct functional, regression, and usability testing of mobile apps.
- Perform compatibility testing across various devices and platforms.
- Validate and verify user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain accurate documentation of test results, test cases, and defects.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in mobile app testing.
Skills Required:
- 3-6 years of experience in manual testing.
- Strong knowledge and experience in mobile app testing.
- Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman.
- Familiarity with Charles proxy tool for monitoring network traffic.
- Ability to create and execute comprehensive test cases.
- Understanding of different testing methodologies and techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet project deadlines.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in a product-based company is preferred.
