Primary Responsibilities:

As a Manual + White Box Tester at Aristocrat Technologies, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our gaming products. You will be responsible for reviewing code changes, understanding their impact, and identifying testing requirements. With your expertise in product testing and a deep understanding of the gaming domain, you will contribute to the success of our projects and products.

Responsibilities:

  1. Product Testing and Gaming Domain Experience:
    • Possess 4-8 years of relevant experience in product testing, with a focus on the gaming domain.
    • Demonstrated understanding of gaming industry standards and best practices.
  2. Manual Testing:
    • Develop and execute manual test cases based on product requirements and use cases.
    • Conduct exploratory testing to identify potential defects and improve product quality.
  3. White Box Testing and Code Review:
    • Perform white box testing to assess code quality and uncover potential vulnerabilities.
    • Review code changes to understand their impact on testing and identify areas for testing.
  4. Testing Impact Assessment:
    • Evaluate code changes to assess their impact on existing test cases and test coverage.
    • Identify additional testing requirements to ensure comprehensive testing of the product.
  5. Test Case Design and Execution:
    • Design test scenarios and test cases that cover all aspects of the product’s functionality.
    • Execute test cases and document test results, defects, and test coverage.
  6. Defect Reporting and Tracking:
    • Identify and report defects with accurate and detailed information.
    • Work with the development team to ensure timely defect resolution.
  7. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
    • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress.

Requirements:

  • 4-8 years of experience in product testing, with a focus on the gaming domain.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience in white box testing and code review to assess code quality and potential vulnerabilities.
  • Ability to review code changes and assess their impact on testing requirements.
  • Knowledge of manual testing techniques and test case design.
