Position: Manual Tester

Location: Gurgaon, India

Responsibilities:

• Manual Testing: Perform comprehensive manual testing of software applications to identify bugs, defects, and areas for improvement.
• Test Case Development: Write high-quality test cases and test scripts, ensuring coverage of all relevant test scenarios.
• Effort Estimation and Scope Definition: Estimate testing effort and define the scope of testing activities for each project.
• Unix Environment: Have experience working in a Unix environment and the ability to run basic commands.
• RDBMS Knowledge: Possess knowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS), including tables and queries.
• API Testing: Familiarity with API testing tools such as POSTMan and SoapUI.
• Browser and Mobile Testing: Conduct testing on both web browsers and native mobile clients to ensure compatibility and functionality.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Gaming Platform Expertise: Expertise in testing gaming platforms, including understanding the intricacies and challenges involved.
• Load Testing: Proficiency in load testing tools to assess the performance and scalability of software applications.
• Cloud Environments: Experience working with cloud environments, specifically AWS, for testing purposes.
• Docker/Kubernetes: Knowledge and expertise in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Test Reporting: Document test results and report defects using bug tracking tools to facilitate effective communication with the development team.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to ensure effective communication and seamless software delivery.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience as a Manual Tester in a software development environment is required.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech./B.E./MCA/M.Tech.) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electronics and Communication Engineering.
• Test Case Development: Proven experience in writing high-quality test cases and test scripts.
• Unix Environment: Familiarity with working in a Unix environment and executing basic commands.
• RDBMS Knowledge: Strong knowledge of relational database management systems, including tables and queries.
• API Testing: Familiarity with API testing tools like POSTMan and SoapUI.
• Browser and Mobile Testing: Ability to perform testing on web browsers and native mobile clients.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration and documentation.
• Gaming Platform Expertise: Expertise in testing gaming platforms, understanding their unique challenges and requirements.
• Load Testing: Proficiency in load testing tools to evaluate software performance and scalability.
• Cloud Environments: Experience working with cloud environments, particularly AWS, for testing purposes.
• Docker/Kubernetes: Knowledge and experience in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
