Position: Charles River Tester

Location: Pune, Mumbai & Chennai

Job Summary: Hexaware Technologies is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Charles River Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong working knowledge of Charles River IMS, preferably 20R1, and hands-on experience with Oracle SQL Queries. Knowledge of trade execution platforms (EMS Platforms) like Triton, Tradeweb is preferred. A solid understanding of financial markets, standard asset classes, and various security types, particularly equities, is desired. Automation experience with UFT is an added advantage. Exposure to workflows from front to back-office applications is beneficial. The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently under pressure, and a meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize strong working knowledge of Charles River IMS, specifically 20R1, to perform comprehensive testing and validation of the system.
  • Conduct hands-on testing and analysis of Oracle SQL Queries to ensure data integrity and system functionality.
  • Familiarize oneself with trade execution platforms (EMS Platforms) such as Triton, Tradeweb, and leverage this knowledge in the testing process.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of financial markets, standard asset classes, and various security types, with a focus on equities. Knowledge of fixed income and derivatives is a plus.
  • Provide automation expertise using UFT to develop and execute automated test scripts, enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of testing activities.
  • Gain exposure to workflows from front to back-office applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
  • Communicate effectively within the application and project teams, ensuring clear and concise information exchange.
  • Work independently under high pressure and fast-paced environments, adjusting priorities as needed to meet project deadlines.
  • Display a high level of motivation, independence, dedication, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Develop and execute test plans, ensuring comprehensive coverage of testing activities.
  • Familiarity with Aladdin is considered a plus.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience with a strong working knowledge of Charles River IMS, preferably 20R1.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle SQL Queries is mandatory.
  • Exposure to trade execution platforms (EMS Platforms) like Triton, Tradeweb is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of financial markets, standard asset classes, and various security types. Knowledge of equities is preferred, and familiarity with fixed income and derivatives is a plus.
  • Automation experience with UFT is an added advantage.
  • Exposure to workflows from front to back-office applications is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate within application and project teams.
  • Ability to work independently under high pressure, fast pace, short notice, and adjust priorities accordingly.
