Position: Manual testing

Nagarro, a leading global technology consulting and services company, is seeking an experienced Manual Testing professional to join our team. As a Manual Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through meticulous testing and adherence to industry best practices. If you have a strong background in manual testing, specifically in Salesforce Testing, and possess a wide range of testing skills, we would like to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the project team to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Execute manual testing activities, including test case execution, defect management, and test reporting, to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
• Conduct functional, integration, regression, and system testing to identify defects and ensure the software meets the defined requirements.
• Perform API testing to verify the integration and interaction between various software components.
• Conduct mobile testing to ensure compatibility, usability, and performance of mobile applications on different devices and platforms.
• Perform database testing to validate the integrity and accuracy of data.
• Utilize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data for testing purposes.
• Collaborate with the development team and participate in agile development processes, providing feedback and ensuring testability of features.
• Develop test strategies, test plans, and test estimation for projects.
• Conduct test reviews and provide feedback to improve the quality of test artifacts.
• Monitor and control testing activities, track defects, and ensure timely resolution.
• Employ various test management tools such as JIRA, QA Complete, IBM Rational Quality Manager, Micro Focus ALM to manage test cases, track defects, and generate reports.
• Utilize tools like Postman and SOAP UI for API testing.
• Familiarity with test management tools like Zephyr for JIRA, TestRail, TM4J, Xray for test case management and tracking.
• Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) testing to ensure data accuracy and integrity during the data migration process.
• Conduct root cause analysis and risk management activities to identify and mitigate potential issues.

Requirements:

• 9 to 13 years of experience in manual testing, with a strong focus on Salesforce Testing.
• Proficiency in test case authoring, defect management, manual testing, STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle), API testing, Scrum development, database testing, mobile testing, SQL, test planning and strategy, test reporting, test reviews, test estimation, testing KPIs, test monitoring and control, test management, root cause analysis, and risk management.
• Experience with one or more of the following test management tools: JIRA, QA Complete, IBM Rational Quality Manager, Micro Focus ALM.
• Experience with one or more of the following API testing tools: Postman, SOAP UI.
• Familiarity with one or more of the following test management tools for test case management and tracking: Zephyr for JIRA, TestRail, TM4J, Xray.
• Experience in ETL testing is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is preferred but not required.
