Job Description: As a Manual Tester at Velox Solutions, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will be responsible for designing and executing manual tests, tracking defects, coordinating with the development team, and interacting with clients. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the success of our projects.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct manual testing of software applications to identify defects and ensure product quality.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications.
- Document and track defects using defect tracking tools and collaborate with the development team to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project objectives, requirements, and expectations.
- Participate in the deployment and implementation of software applications.
- Interact with clients to gather feedback, address concerns, and provide support during the testing phase.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and quality assurance team members, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the enhancement of testing methodologies and practices.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in manual testing.
Qualifications:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in manual testing of software applications.
- Strong knowledge of manual testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools and experience in defect management.
- Experience in coordinating with development teams to track and resolve defects.
- Proficiency in client interaction and ability to understand and address client requirements.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of software deployment processes and implementation.
