Position: Manual Tester (Telecom Domain)
Location: Noida
Company Overview: TechMahindra is a global technology company that offers innovative solutions and services to clients across various industries. We are currently seeking experienced Manual Testers with expertise in the telecom domain to join our team in Noida. If you have a strong background in manual testing, specifically in the areas of SIP VOIP and API Testing, we have immediate requirements for this role. This position requires candidates who can join within a notice period of immediate to 15 days.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct manual testing of telecom-related functionalities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project specifications and user stories.
- Perform API testing to validate the functionality, reliability, and security of the telecom applications.
- Validate the performance and quality of SIP VOIP systems, identifying and reporting any defects or issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure effective communication and timely resolution of issues.
- Analyze test results and provide clear and concise reports on the quality and progress of the testing process.
- Work closely with the development team to reproduce and troubleshoot reported issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to review system requirements and provide feedback on testability and potential improvements.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in telecom technologies, testing methodologies, and tools.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools, aiming for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- 3 to 6 years of experience in manual testing, specifically in the telecom domain.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of telecom protocols, such as SIP and VOIP.
- Experience in conducting API testing for telecom applications.
- Familiarity with telecom networks, call flows, and related technologies.
- Good understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design, and defect tracking.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA or similar bug tracking systems.
- Immediate to 15-day notice period availability.
