Position: Manual Tester

Location: Mohali, Punjab

Job Responsibilities:

As a Manual Tester, your primary responsibility will be to develop and establish quality assurance deliverables and testing frameworks. You will work closely with the development team and stakeholders to ensure the smooth and efficient testing of our application software. Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Test Planning and Documentation:
   • Create and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases based on changing requirements.
   • Collaborate with the development team to understand project objectives and define testing strategies.
2. Manual Testing:
   • Conduct functional, regression, and system testing to verify the software’s adherence to specifications.
   • Perform exploratory testing to identify defects and usability issues.
   • Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies, ensuring their resolution and retesting.
3. Web Testing and App Testing:
   • Possess a strong understanding of web testing methodologies and techniques.
   • Conduct thorough testing of web applications across multiple browsers and platforms.
   • Test mobile applications on various devices and operating systems.
4. Quality Assurance:
   • Work closely with the development team to ensure the software meets high-quality standards.
   • Participate in code reviews to identify potential issues and suggest improvements.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality-related concerns and implement effective solutions.
5. Test Reporting and Documentation:
   • Generate accurate and detailed test reports, including test results, test coverage, and defect tracking.
   • Maintain proper documentation of test cases, test scenarios, and test data for future reference.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in manual testing.
• Strong knowledge and experience in web testing and app testing.
• Graduation or post-graduation degree in a relevant field.
• Proven ability to create and maintain test plans and test cases.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
