Job Summary: NuWare is seeking a talented and experienced Manual Tester to join our QA team. As a Manual Tester, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and windows applications. You will leverage your expertise in manual testing processes and methodologies to thoroughly test software, identify defects, and contribute to the enhancement of our products. Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and business analysts, to understand project requirements and software functionality.
Design, create, review, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scripts to validate the functionality and performance of web and windows applications.
Conduct manual testing of applications, identifying and documenting defects, inconsistencies, and issues in a clear and organized manner.
Perform thorough database testing to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data interactions between the application and the database.
Utilize manual testing processes to verify the usability, functionality, and user experience of both web and windows applications.
Work closely with development teams to reproduce, isolate, and communicate defects for timely resolution.
Collaborate in the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results.
Execute regression testing to ensure that software updates and fixes do not adversely impact existing functionalities.
Apply knowledge of SQL to validate data correctness and perform data validation tasks.
Provide accurate and detailed reports on testing activities and results to stakeholders.
Contribute to the improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
Proven experience as a Manual Tester, QA Analyst, or similar role with a minimum of 3 – 5 years of hands-on manual testing experience.
Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.
Experience testing web and windows applications is essential.
Proficiency in SQL for database testing and data validation.
Knowledge of software testing tools and defect tracking systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts effectively.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies is a plus.
