About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Manual Tester or Manual QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Manual Tester, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will closely collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and rectify defects, ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of quality before reaching our clients.

- Conduct comprehensive manual testing of software applications, including functionality, usability, and compatibility across various platforms.
- Create detailed, structured, and comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
- Execute test cases, meticulously document test results, and report defects effectively using established testing tools and processes.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to identify and prioritize issues for resolution.
- Participate actively in requirement analysis and design review meetings to ensure testability and raise concerns early in the development cycle.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that previously identified issues have been resolved and do not reoccur.
- Continuously enhance and optimize the testing process by identifying and implementing best practices.
- Assist in the preparation of test data and test environments to simulate real-world scenarios.
- Provide accurate and timely status reports on testing progress and issue resolution.
Qualifications and Key Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven 3-4 years of experience in manual testing or manual QA, demonstrating a strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Familiarity with various testing tools and defect tracking systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
- Knowledge of agile and/or waterfall software development methodologies is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE would be advantageous.
