Position: Manual Tester

Location: Mohali, Punjab [Phase 8]

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Manual Tester to join our dynamic team. As a Manual Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Review and analyze system specifications to gain a comprehensive understanding of software requirements.
Execute test cases, either manually or through automated tools, to verify the functionality and performance of software applications.
Evaluate product code to ensure it aligns with specifications and quality standards.
Create detailed logs to document testing phases and defects encountered during the testing process.
Report bugs, errors, and other issues to the development teams using appropriate bug tracking tools.
Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing.
Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing to validate the stability and performance of software applications.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and project managers, to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing methodologies.

Requirements:

Proven work experience as a Manual Tester or similar role, with a minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience.
Solid understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
Proficiency in executing test cases manually and using automated testing tools.
Familiarity with bug tracking systems and software development lifecycles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and report software defects.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and report findings.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
