Job Description:
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Manual Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing, with a strong focus on ISO8583 and Cards & Payments domain. This role is a key position in our quality assurance team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions to our clients.

- Manual Testing: Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications, focusing on the Cards & Payments domain and ISO8583 standards.
- Test Planning: Develop detailed test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
- Test Execution: Execute test cases, document test results, and identify defects or issues.
- Defect Management: Collaborate with the development team to track, manage, and resolve defects in a timely manner.
- Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure the stability and reliability of software updates.
- Test Automation: Collaborate with automation testers to identify opportunities for test automation and contribute to test automation efforts.
- Domain Expertise: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in the Cards & Payments domain, including ISO8583 standards.
- Reporting: Provide regular test progress reports to project stakeholders and management.
- Quality Assurance: Contribute to the continuous improvement of the quality assurance process and best practices within the organization.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure product quality.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test cases, test data, and test results.
- Adherence to Standards: Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in testing methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
- Strong expertise in Manual Testing in the Cards & Payments domain.
- Proficiency in ISO8583 standards.
- Excellent understanding of software testing methodologies and processes.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks is a plus.
