Position: Manual Tester
Location: WFH / Remote / Work From Anywhere
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Design and develop test cases based on project requirements.
- Execute manual test cases and document the test results.
- Identify, analyze, and report software defects and inconsistencies.
- Perform functional, regression, and system testing to ensure the stability and reliability of the software applications.
- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover any hidden issues and provide feedback for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in agile development processes, such as daily stand-up meetings and sprint planning.
- Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and technologies.
- Provide suggestions and contribute to process improvements to enhance the overall quality of the software.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Manual Tester.
- Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in designing and executing test cases and test scripts.
- Experience in functional, regression, and system testing.
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify software defects effectively.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a remote team environment.
- ISTQB certification or any other relevant certifications would be a plus.
