Position: Manual Test Engineer
Job Description:
We are looking for a Manual Test Engineer with at least 4 years of experience in software testing. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of test methodologies and concepts and experience in product system/functional/integration testing. Compliance to standards/regulation, tool validation, and risk management are also essential skills for this role. As a Manual Test Engineer, you will be responsible for test planning, test design, execution, defect management, and technical project documentation. Excellent communication skills are crucial as you will be interacting with internal stakeholders and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct system, functional, and integration testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our products.
- Adhere to standards and regulations in the testing process.
- Validate and ensure the effectiveness of testing tools used in the project.
- Identify and manage risks associated with the testing process.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test designs based on project requirements.
- Execute test cases, track defects, and manage defect resolution.
- Prepare and maintain technical project documentation, including test reports and test data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure smooth testing processes.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and clients to provide updates, discuss issues, and seek clarification.
- Continuously improve testing processes and contribute to the overall quality assurance activities within the project.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Test Engineer, with a focus on manual testing.
- Excellent understanding of test methodologies and concepts.
- Experience in product system/functional/integration testing.
- Familiarity with compliance to standards and regulations.
- Experience in tool validation and risk management.
- Strong skills in test planning, test design, execution, and defect management.
- Proficient in technical project documentation.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with internal stakeholders and clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
