As a Manual/Automation Tester at IIGM, you will play a crucial role in validating the functionality, performance, and security of our software applications. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of testing activities, including manual and automated testing, basic programming, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

- Manual Testing: Create, execute, and maintain comprehensive manual test cases, test plans, and test scripts. Identify and document defects accurately to ensure the quality of software functionality.
- Basic Programming (Java): Apply your basic programming skills in Java to enhance manual testing efforts and support test automation initiatives.
- Automation Testing: While not mandatory, knowledge of automation testing using tools like Selenium, Appium, and API testing is an added advantage. Contribute to automation script development and execution.
- SQL: Utilize SQL queries to validate data accuracy, integrity, and consistency. Verify data retrieval, storage, and manipulation processes.
- Test Management (JIRA): Collaborate with cross-functional teams using test management tools like JIRA. Plan, track, and report on testing activities and defects.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle. Work closely with development teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 Years of Experience: You should have 2-3 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on manual testing. Automation knowledge is an added advantage.
- Basic Programming Skills (Java): Proficiency in basic programming using Java is required.
- Automation Knowledge: While not mandatory, familiarity with automation testing tools like Selenium, Appium, and API testing is a plus.
- SQL Skills: Proficiency in SQL for data validation and manipulation.
- Test Management (JIRA): Experience with test management tools like JIRA is advantageous.
