Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of QA analysts, providing guidance and support in automation testing practices.
- Develop and implement automation test strategies, frameworks, and test scripts to ensure the quality of software products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to understand project requirements and design test plans.
- Identify and prioritize test scenarios and automate them using industry-standard automation tools and frameworks.
- Execute automated tests and analyze test results, identifying and reporting software defects and issues.
- Continuously improve the automation testing process by evaluating and implementing new tools, techniques, and best practices.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure proper defect resolution and provide feedback on software quality.
- Provide regular reports on test progress, test coverage, and any potential risks or issues to stakeholders.
- Conduct code reviews of test automation scripts to ensure they adhere to coding standards and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and advancements in automation testing and quality assurance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience as a QA Analyst, with a strong focus on automation testing.
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing automation test strategies, frameworks, and scripts.
- Proficiency in using industry-standard automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar tools.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C# for test automation.
- Excellent knowledge of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and report software defects.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Leadership skills to guide and mentor a team of QA analysts.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Immediate to 2-week notice period availability.
