Position: Jr. Test Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of software applications to ensure their functionality, usability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to understand requirements and define testing objectives.
- Develop and execute test cases and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications.
- Conduct various types of testing, including functional, regression, and integration testing, to identify and report defects and issues.
- Document test results, defects, and testing activities using appropriate tools and methodologies.
- Work closely with the development team to reproduce and resolve reported defects.
- Participate in test case reviews, walkthroughs, and other team meetings to ensure alignment and adherence to quality standards.
- Provide regular status updates on testing progress and communicate any potential risks or challenges to the project team.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, suggesting and implementing best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in manual testing techniques.
Required Candidate Profile:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Manual Testing.
- Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies, test case development, and defect tracking.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC) processes.
- Familiarity with various types of testing, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Proficiency in using defect tracking and test management tools, such as JIRA or TestRail.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot software defects.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate testing results and issues.
