Position: IMS/SIP Protocol Test Engineer
Location: Bangalore, India

As part of our expansion plans, we are currently seeking talented IMS/SIP Protocol Test Engineers to join our team in Bangalore.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct testing and verification of IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) and SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) protocols, both manually and through automation techniques.
- Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive coverage of protocol testing.
- Perform end-to-end testing of IMS/SIP protocols, including registration, call setup, media handling, and call teardown.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, network engineering, and product management, to identify and resolve protocol-related issues.
- Execute test cases and analyze test results to identify and report defects and track their resolution.
- Familiarity with QXDM tools usage for LTE/5G protocol testing and debugging.
- Design and maintain test setups, test environments, and testbeds for IMS/SIP protocol testing.
- Stay updated with the latest industry standards, protocols, and technologies related to IMS and SIP.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of test processes, methodologies, and tools.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Test Engineer, specifically in IMS/SIP protocol testing.
- In-depth knowledge of IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) and SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) protocols.
- Experience in both manual and automation testing of IMS/SIP protocols.
- Proficiency in using QXDM tools for LTE/5G protocol testing.
- Familiarity with scripting languages, preferably Python, for test automation purposes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex protocol issues.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively report test results.
- Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality assurance.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of additional scripting languages for test automation.
- Experience with network simulators and traffic generation tools.
- Understanding of telecommunications networks and technologies.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- ISTQB or any other software testing certification.
