Position: Test Automation Engineer

Location: Bhubaneswar

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team and other stakeholders to understand software requirements and design test scenarios.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.
• Perform API testing to validate the functionality and integration of web services.
• Execute automated tests and analyze test results to identify defects and performance issues.
• Collaborate with developers to resolve identified defects and verify their fixes.
• Continuously enhance test automation frameworks and methodologies to improve efficiency and test coverage.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with the QA team to ensure the overall quality of the software deliverables.
• Stay updated with the latest tools, technologies, and trends in test automation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 to 9 years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming language and object-oriented concepts.
• Extensive experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks using Selenium.
• Solid understanding of API testing and hands-on experience with tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
• Strong knowledge of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
