Position: Functional QA-SAP

Location: Hyderabad

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with SAP consultants, developers, and business analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into effective test strategies.
• Develop and execute functional test plans and test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of SAP software solutions.
• Conduct end-to-end testing to validate the functionality, integration, and performance of SAP modules.
• Identify, document, and track defects using defect tracking tools, and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
• Participate in test design reviews to ensure test cases align with business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Perform regression testing to verify the stability of SAP software solutions after changes or enhancements.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies within the SAP environment.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP functionalities, best practices, and industry trends.
• Provide status reports, test metrics, and other relevant information to project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and address any issues or concerns.
• Participate in training sessions and knowledge sharing activities to enhance skills and expertise.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of experience in functional quality assurance within the SAP environment.
• Strong knowledge of SAP modules and functionality, including but not limited to SAP SD, SAP MM, SAP FI/CO, SAP PP, SAP QM, etc.
• Experience in end-to-end testing of SAP software solutions.
• Proficiency in test planning, test case design, and test execution.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools and processes.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet project deadlines.
• SAP certification(s) would be an added advantage.
• Experience in automated testing tools for SAP (e.g., SAP CBTA, eCATT) would be a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
