Responsibilities:
As a Software Testing (Manual) Engineer at HotelHub, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure testability.
- Create and execute manual test cases to verify software functionality and adherence to specified requirements.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
- Participate in test planning and estimation activities.
- Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure product quality.
- Work closely with the development team to resolve issues and ensure timely resolution of defects.
- Collaborate with automation and performance testing teams as needed.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in software testing and actively seek opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to agile processes and participate in daily stand-up meetings and other team activities.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.).
- Strong understanding of the agile development process.
- Knowledge of any bug tracking tool for defect tracking and management.
- Familiarity with any automation tool or performance testing tool is a plus.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
