Position: QA Manual Tester (Fresher)
Location: Noida, Sector 68
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Design and execute manual test cases to identify software defects and ensure the application meets quality standards.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to validate the software’s functionality and usability.
- Document and report bugs and issues using bug tracking tools, and work closely with the development team to resolve them.
- Participate in test plan and test case reviews, providing feedback on test coverage and identifying potential areas of improvement.
- Conduct root cause analysis for identified issues and propose solutions or process enhancements.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the quality of the software throughout the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with the team to create and maintain test data, test environments, and test scripts.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in QA and software testing.
- Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality work within the given deadlines.
- Work closely with team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
- IT background and a graduate degree in any related field.
- Freshers are welcome to apply, with a passion for software testing and quality assurance.
- Solid understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Familiarity with manual testing techniques and tools.
- Knowledge of bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.
