Position Summary: As a QA Engineer Intern at CryptoXpress, you will be a valuable member of our development team, ensuring the quality and reliability of our cryptocurrency exchange platform. 1. Quality Assurance and Testing:
- Collaborate with the development team to understand application requirements and functionality.
- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications, ensuring their functionality, usability, and performance meet quality standards.
- Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts to identify and report defects.
- Participate in the design and execution of automated tests to improve testing efficiency.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
2. Documentation:
- Document test cases, test results, and defects in a clear and organized manner.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for testing processes, methodologies, and best practices.
3. Bug Tracking and Reporting:
- Identify, document, and report software defects using established bug tracking tools.
- Communicate effectively with the development team to ensure prompt resolution of identified issues.
4. Collaboration:
- Work closely with developers and other team members to ensure alignment on testing efforts and priorities.
- Provide valuable input during design and development phases to ensure testability and quality.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Pursuing or completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, testing methodologies, and software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with React Native development and its testing practices is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of manual testing techniques, test case creation, and execution.
- Ability to analyze requirements and technical specifications to design effective test cases.
- Knowledge of automation testing tools and frameworks is a bonus.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to document test cases and report defects.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
