Position: QA Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define test objectives and strategies.
- Design and develop test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on project requirements.
- Execute test cases and perform functional, regression, and integration testing of web and mobile applications.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using defect tracking tools.
- Perform root cause analysis of defects and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in test environment setup and test data preparation.
- Collaborate with the development team to promote a culture of quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Continuously enhance testing processes and methodologies to improve overall test coverage and efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices in software testing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Strong passion for quality assurance and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing concepts.
- Familiarity with different types of testing such as functional testing, regression testing, and integration testing.
- Knowledge of test case design techniques and defect tracking tools.
- Basic understanding of programming languages such as Java or Python is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
